Texas Parks & Recreation Foundation is a non-profit 501 c(3) corporation founded in 1979 with members throughout Texas committed to excellence in public leisure services and open spaces and providing support for the organizations and individuals who make those spaces and services their life’s work through education, scholarships and land trust services.

This work continues thanks to the tireless work of volunteer board members and officers, as well as the generous support of individuals, businesses and organizations who value parks and public spaces and our efforts to protect them for all to enjoy.
